Here we have Ruth’s farmhouse kitchen. One of our all time favourites and, quite possibly, an ‘Eastburn’ shaker kitchen summed up in a single image. It’s hard to pinpoint why we like it so much. But, an unfussy layout in a bright, well-proportioned room is always a strong start.

Mostly, it’s straightforward, and combines all the elements that we do best. A single run of handmade units with solid oak worktops, a freestanding two-door cupboard, and a large characterful reclaimed workbench whapped in the middle - a classic example of the one-offs you’ll find here in our showroom.

Throw into the mix a limestone floor and the idyllic North Yorkshire setting and you’ve cracked it
